Mission

The mission of Rising Star Ministries is to end poverty in Uganda by helping young people be healthy spiritually, academically, and physically in a safe and caring environment.

Values

Starting early: Ending the cycle of poverty can begin by transforming the education and experiences of young people. Rising Star Ministries supports students ages 6 to 18.
Teaching creatively: The Rising Star Education Center provides unique resources and tutoring to help individual students succeed.
Aiming high: By teaching students to set and achieve goals, students competing in Rising Star soccer programs learn that they have unique skills, talents and contributions to make to their communities.
Reaching potential: Students learn that God has a unique plan for them in Jesus Christ and that He has a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11) planned for them.
